Golf subscription insurance

Is it actually a useful form of insurance to have?
If I can't play golf I'm not actually expending more money, just not using money spent.
If your income reduces due to illness insurance is available though it isn't necessarily cheap.

Depends on what the subs are. Think it's getting to the point that it will be as there are two of us paying it so quite a few ££££ now.
