i bought some adidas powerband shoes yesterday and after 18 holes i have massiv blisters on the back of both ankles is there anything i can do to the shoes or shall i buy some more

Buy a pair of shoe stretchers, hold the shoes over some steam from the kettle or a pan of water for about 30 seconds insert the shoe stretchers and let them cool down.
Then wear them in for 30 minutes a day in the evening for 4 or 5 evenings and you'll be fine.
Do not use them for a full round until your blisters are totally healed.
You can buy shoe stretching spray but I only ever use steam and don't get the soles too hot ot it ruins the glue.

I get this problem with any pair of new golf shoes I buy, must be the anatomy of my feet. I sort it by bashing the inside of the heel with the ball-peign (The rounded end) of a hammer while supporting them on a piece of wood. It softens the leather and sorts the problem immediately.

Fabric/cushion plasters either on your heel or the shoe heel, hammer bashing also useful as is taking back to store and changing them for something more suitable

8 and that's what size I've got

I bought a pair of adidas the right size for me and found they started to hurt after a round, so I got myself a new pair but a size bigger. Now its like playing in slippers. Adidas always seem a bit narrower and smaller than other brands, so go a size up.

Had same problem with my FJ which suprised me ,, couple of good ideas below will work , will take a couple of rounds but then theyl be perfect..
This..
the same can be achieved by a pair of normal socks and pair of ankle/trainer socks worn at the same time. Does exactly the same thing.
This...
Plasters on the heel/ankle work for me.

And totaly ignore this , what sort of contributin is this to a genuine question ?

grow a pair!

buy a box of johnston & johnston compeed silicon plasters there great and you can play. also when tryingout new shoes ALWAYS KEEP YOUR OLD SHOES IN YOUR BAG FOR FIRST 2/3 ROUNDS. SO YOU CAN CHANGE INTO THEM AS SOON AS YOU FEEL TOO MUCH RUBBING.. i can't wear shoes with a high back, and i don't suit high heels either.

I have a new pair of these shoes. First time out was fine but I wore them a week ago and the blisters were terrible on both heels. I think it's the fabirc that they are lined in. I've always had adidas golf shoes as they have the cut out bit at the heel and they are more like trainers.
I'm playing tomorrow so I'm going to try the two sock tip on here. I'm sure they just need to be worn in.
If you're playing tomorrow have a good one!!
