Golf shoe advice

Looking to play golf through the winter this year and wondered if I would get away with spikeless shoes or do I really need to go for spiked?

soft spikes for me and shoes that just have to be waterproof! I hate wet feet....

I'd prefer the security of soft spikes too. I have invested in a number of pairs of waterproof socks so never have to worry about leaks or the water coming in through the lace holes in the long grass

agree - took advice from the forum and invested in Seal Skins waterproof socks. Completely dry feet and they are nice and warm too!!
