Hi there can anyone please help me am looking for a golf professional around the liverpool/machester area i am a scratch golfer and was wondering who would be the best coach in that area for someone like myself...

Ok i know of two very good teaching pro's one is Peter Barber who is based at Didsbury golf club he is a cheshire county coach, the other is based at my club use the link. his name is James Hopley we have several scratch and plus players at the club who between them have won our scratch league for the past six years all have been tutored by James.

If you can make it over to Wirral Alan Thompson at Heswall is excellent, coaches a lot of top amateurs, Walker cup players etc He's one of the technical coaches for the England A Squad.
