Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit Betting Offer

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

It's definitely an interesting idea and will look forward to sum ashes betting in the summer

We look forward to having you Scouser, we've had a wealth of cricket betting in the last few months, and currently we are running daily IPL fixtures. Of course, come July and August we will be offering several kinds of markets on The Ashes, which I'd imagine would garner a fair bit of interest, and in turn some decent prize money.

Don't forget that this offer is still on guys - anyone had any luck yet?

“ All new clients receive a free £10 no deposit required bet to use on the site , and if they put Golf as their favourite sport when registering with us and register before the Masters ends April 14 midnight they will get an extra £10 when they first top up and play £10 at any time before or after the Masters“

Our Masters markets has been very successful and I can confirm we've had a number of 'new winners', so congratulations are in order to anyone out there who won a few bob with us.

Day 2 is up for betting and closes at 2pm today for anyone who enjoyed day 1, or anyone who hasn't had a punt with us yet. As Tom says, we have £10 free waiting for you with no deposit necessary. And if you do decide to top up your account we will give you another free £10 (this offer is exclusive to Golf Monthly).

Cheers Bucket, cheers Birchy, best of luck to you both.

You'd be surprised at how this changes how you watch sport Birchy, especially if you're a neutral viewer. I was watching a football game with a mate who has joined the site, and with 3 minutes to go he was screaming for one more corner and one more card, giving the ref a fair bit of abuse the whole time for not obliging.

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

So, day 3 is upon us and we have 2 more markets for you. The Day 3 market, and an updated Players market, both of which can be found on site and close at 5pm and 4pm respectively.

Aside from the blatant plugging, how is everyone finding the site? I've noticed a few new winners, anybody like to brag on here? If there is any other feedback or queries, I'm here to help.

Happy Pooling!

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

I had a go on a footy match. Its pretty interesting. Is it a case of price is right in things such as number of corners and cards where you need to get as close as but can't go over? I had 11 corners but there was only 10 but I got no points and I think ppl that guessed 8 did.

That's it exactly. This is explained in our rules as the following...

PoolpitRules said:
Any chosen live match can be applied with the following markets of which the following is an example:
How many corners in the match ? - choose from 0-5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10, 11,12 or >13.
There were 8 corners - so 10 points for that choice, 5 points for 7, 3pts for 6 and 1 for 0 - 5.
9 corners would have gained 0 points as the event did not occur.

Not quite the way Brucey describes it, but the closer you are to the right answer without going over, the more points you get.

And what to points make...

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

In my maths class we would have called that a loss

After I put a bet on, any money I get back is a win!

Good to see you are enjoying it anyway. We have 1 more day of golf left today, and have the usual Day 4 markets as well as some foursomes where you pick which of the 4 you think will have the best round.

For those of you who have been sampling our football, there is also the FA Cup Semi Final, along with some Spanish footie this evening. Click here for all fixtures.

It's been great chatting to you guys over the last few days, you are a hell of a lot friendlier than some of the forums I've been sent to (naming no names), and I hope you'll continue to enjoy our website as much as I will continue to enjoy yours.

Happy Pooling!

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

Well it's all over, and we've given away over £1,000. Doesn't sound like much but given we are a small start-up it's one of our biggest sporting events to date.

Has anyone from this forum won big? Let us know of any winnings, or any further questions/queries you may have. Hope you enjoyed it and be sure to check back over the next few weeks where we'll be offering plenty more action.

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

I won £6.65 from my free tenner, just reinvested £5 into Arsenal Vs Everton.

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

I managed to get joint first in the £10 overall Masters pool. :)

I'd definitely have had more points too if I'd read the rules properly - about not going over.

Also, did I read the question wrong or were there really 12 previous major winners in the top 20?

I was the other winner in the £10 pot. Many thanks.

I have reinvested in the midweek onion bag. Why cant we have the draw option? I assume you are right or wrong in this market - i.e. you cant go over and bust?

I will get the hang of this but ignorance appears to be bliss atm!

Many thanks

Congrats Matty and Region3, always nice to win a pot, would be a bit nicer if you didn't have to share it but still, glad we're making winners!

In regards to your Onion Bag query, yes you are either right or wrong, 10 points if you are right, 5 if it's a draw, 3 if you lose but score a goal, and 1 point if you lose (but only 1-0).

However, things will be changing very soon as the Bag is getting updated to include the draw option. We have a points structure already lined up and which will be rolled in the near future.

Re: Golf Monthly Forum Poolpit offer

While I've dropped by, anyone who has some winnings to spend (or money to spare) and fancies a punt this weekend, we have the following to offer...

We have a little bit of Golf Action over the weekend from the Spanish Open, but if you fancy venturing out into other sports, we have around 20 football fixtures from 6 different leagues around Europe. We also have F1 from Bahrain, Daily Horse & Dog Racing, Snooker, Cricket and 2 types of Rugby.

Something to get your teeth into.

Thanks again to anyone who's joined, we are slowly growing and we appreciate your support!
