Is anyone planning on going? Just been given some free tickets through work and was thinking about heading down on the Friday as I grew up in the area so would be nice to visit a few old haunts. Did anyone go last year and do you get much of a chance to demo clubs?

Thanks in advance, oh and theres a possibility of a few spares too...

Hi Bucky, I went last year at Stoke Park was was lucky enough to win a ticket, its a brilliant day out, lots to do, plenty of clubs to try & demo,good area for clothes, get close to the pros, accessories etc couldn't recommend it enough, you'll really enjoy it, i'm considering going again this year, but its a bit further to drive over the toll bridge & the price of the ticket is a bit hefty, sooo if you have any spares hint hint lol

My mate and I live about 25 miles from the London club and probably plan to go on the Saturday.

Any spare tickets would be greatly appreciated

Yeah I won tickets last year too and thought it was a great day. Loads of clubs to test but if you want to try a wedge I would go early as I ended up hitting balls from 100s of other peoples divots. Also good idea to plan ahead and plot your way around the demonstrations so you get them all in with gaps in between. I saw Goosen hitting driver, Casey irons, Poulter & Leadbetter short game, and Monty a bit of everything.

i'm going down on the Sunday, thought I'd check it out looks good.. really want to test out some clubs and get some tips from the pros and coaches really

I went last year and it was excellent. However, I think this years line up is not as good as last years.

Just like Mulligan said, plan your way round as there are many things going on at once last year I did:-

1. Leadbetter & Poulter Short Game
2. Casey & Larazabal - Irons
3. Casey & Rhys Davies - Driving (Boy can that Casey hit that stick).
4. Driving Range - Tried Yonex Driver
5. Merchandise Hall - Got a magazine subscription and took Dozen Z-Stars away with me.
6. Nearest the pin competition
7. Casey - Short game and bunker play.
8. Monty's end game with all of the stars.

thanks for advice, definitely going to head down there with a few friends and have also given them first refusal on a few extra tickets for friends / family. Any spares i should know about by the end of the weekend, so on monday I'll let you know how many i have and i will send them on a first -come-first-serve basis, obviously a few have already put themselves to the front of the queue in this thread.

Update:

Two are on their way by carrier pidgeon to Cobra , and have offered two more to chrisd who i am awaiting a reply. there may also be one remaining but i will wait to hear back from chris before offering them around again...
