Golf in St Andrews

It's not the same for all courses. Mats are in use on the Old and Castle until 31st March. The New, Jubilee, Eden and Strathtyrum were on mats until the 26th February.

Ok kind of put off by the idea of playing from mats to be honest

I may give the New Course a go instead if it is no longer a course they require you to use a mat on.

You won't be dissapointed with the New, similar feel to the old but with a bit more definition overall and also a couple of Double greens thrown in :thup:
