Golf In Spain

Hi guys

We are trying to book rounds in Villarmartin (Villarmartin, Las Colinas) anyone know of a decent website to book on?

Thanks in advance

Billy,

I'm in Spain at the moment and played villamartin last Sunday and wouldn't recommend it. It was part of the deal we booked but the course isn't in great condition and due to the lack of information on the tees and the number of blind holes the round took over 5hrs. We played reasonably well but there's 4balls everywhere many of whom are looking for balls down ravines/barancas etc.

website suggestion, www.golfquara.com. Hope that helps.

Cheers for this info. Looks like a great site

We were there in February and had very good service from www.galaxygreenfees.com. Las Colinas was excellent - top course and top service. Free pyramid of practice balls, course guide. pitch repairer, pencils, water and a very warm and professional welcome.
Would also recommend Lo Romero which is not far away. La Finca was third choice.
We were staying close to Villamartin and to be honest it looked a bit ropey!
Have a great time.

Thanks for the help all.

We played Villamartin last April MC, didn't really wanna go back this year as we found it pretty damn tough (4 days on the beer didn't help!) Our villa this year backs onto the course so we thought we would play it first day this year, don't think we will bother now.

Played Las Colinas last year, really liked it.

Again, thanks for the info guys, much appreciated..

We played Las Colinas last year and it really was excellent, as you say, liked the look of Lo Romero so that is on our hit list this year. Played La Finca two years ago, nice course..

Cheers

Father in law has a few places in villamartin so i play a fair bit over there. Las colinas is the stand out course in the area. Las ramblas is torture but fun at the same time. Wouldn't play villa martin even if it was free. I wait till i get out there and book my green fees at a shop across the road from villa martin plaza. I will see if i can dig out the name of the shop but they usually have some great deals on. Used to book at the golf factory at cabo roig but found the staff a little rude tbh

Stu, we booked last year through the golf shop you are talking about, but none of us can remember the name of it! I think our best bet may be to book a tee time for the friday somewhere and then to hit that shop. We dont land till 7 pm so we wanna try and get our frst game booked.

Costa Blanca and Costa Calida Golf Tours I think is the shop

Just got back, excellent time. Played la finca lo romero and las colinas.

Big shout to those advocating lo romero, quality course. Lady in munchies cafe in plaza said we could have a free brekkie if we birdied the 18th, yeh right! Wotta hole! Have to say los colinas looked a bit rough on the greens.
