Golf courses in South West Sweden

This year I have decided to take advantage of the beautiful courses in the South West of Sweden, having not played much golf over the last 3 years. Being more of a hacker these days than a serious golfer I opted for a course close to my girlfriends work that offered good value for money i.e 260 SEK(£21/£22) for 36 holes.....Orkelljunga Woodlands Golf Course ....WHAT A SURPRISE! An absolute dream!! Water on almost every hole and certainly a course where golf is NOT a walk wasted! Well worth a visit!..

Then today I opt for the safe option Barsebäck Golf & Country Club playing the Donald Steel Course and playing the Masters Course tomorrow. 500SEK(£42) for a round at the Donald Steel course did not seem to be good value for money, with very wet/soft fairways getting no real run off the tee.... The Masters Course costs 700SEK and is supposed to be the one of the finest in Scandinavia....

Hopefully the Masters Course will prove better value for money!

Looked at going to Sweden fo my 40th as i wanted to play Falsterbo and Barsebak but drink prices are far to expensive to get my mates to go,great courses as well , have worked in Sweden before in Ludvika ,lovely courses.
