I'm looking for some bed time reading and I'm interested in learning about the historic course designers, their traits, famous courses etc. Can anyone suggest some books?

There is a good book about Harry Colt, Creating Classics. Only trouble it is more of a coffee table book, rather than a bed time read. Very heavy, but some cracking photos, including quite a few of my course.

I love the pictures of St George's Hill, including one of the clubhouse with its thatched roof.
