Golf break companies

Golfbreaks have always been good when I've used them.
For Portugal or Spain,Teetimes.pt are well worth a look, as they have great relationships with some very good courses, and the owner, Carlos, is a lovely chap.

We’re using Golf Breaks for a trip shortly. I have been happy with what they have done, pricing, updating, communication etc.
My only niggle is that we hadn’t booked buggies so I went back to the to get them to reserve or get them added to the bill. They came back to me, a couple of days ago, saying that the only way they could do this was for us to pay them upfront for the buggies (which wouldn’t have been a problem) but that also they might be cheaper direct (which obviously was).
So I sent emails to the 4 clubs asking to reserve 4 buggies per round. In 48 hours they all replied, one required payment up front, the others were happy just to reserve them and pay on the day - they all quoted the prices as well.
The buggies were all around £10 each cheaper direct so we have saved over £170 and not had to pay for 12 of the buggies upfront. Not sure why Golf Breaks couldn’t do this better and cheaper (or at least at the same price not 20% plus higher) than I could, after all this is why we use these companies.

We use golfbreaks to book our trips

Have had a number of issues with YGT

Messed up a booking at Forest Pines

And then when we booked just before Covid wouldn’t refund us for months when the trip was going to be cancelled
