I oppose your campaign and consign cargo shorts to golfing damnation, what is wrong with a nice tweed jacket,waistcoat, cardboard collar and tie with a nice pair of plus two's and matching hose finished with a pair of immaculate brogues. Now that's smart, and practical as the jacket will have room for a pipe and other golfing paraphernalia whilst the plus two's should have pockets perfect for one's hip flask.i hereby join your campaign!!!best golf trousers ever are Debenhams nanotech.
stain resistant, and they are 1" longer than normal trousers perfect for me as I can get a 34" leg for once and they fit (They have a stretchy hidden waistband!)
top those off with a nice polo neck + thin wool jumper if cold.
But muted colours (So I can wear them on other occasions)
