Going to the Open

If anyone is going to the Open, I'd love to hear your comments for the magazine's out and about section this month, especially what you thought of the course set up, who you saw etc.

I presume no-one on here is going even if they don't want to write a piece. I've been to a couple and I have to say there is a unique atmosphere totally different to any other golf tournament and I guess akin to a Lords Test or centre court at Wimbledon.

I was pleased to say the coverage I saw this morning and early afternoon saw the crowds behave in exemplary fashion (not a single "in the hole") and a credit to how golf should be observed.
