GM vs Ping

boys i read in gm magazine that the gm team are being fitted for a ping driver. do the ping team want the the gm team to win. now imagine you were all fitted with incorrect settings etc. :(. not that ping would do that. any ping fitters on the forum any thoughts. :D :D :D

I think we're allowed to beat them using our own clubs... THEN we get fitted for Pings and never win anything again ;)

Actually I'm looking forward to getting back on a launch monitor and seeing what's going on. If they can fit me for a club that carries 275yds I'll have it :)

I've not hit any of the new Ping clubs so I'm actually rather interested.

Think I may have just surpassed the 20 points total! The greens were magical, honestly awesome condition. Stevek1969 is a very very lucky man to be a member of such a fantastic and challenging golf course. I'm very very envious!

Scotscraig in that wind was very very tough. I held it together well and hit some good shots, could do with a bit of extra putting practice but its really just a lack of golf as our course is not long (1 week) open after a period of 3 weeks under snow!

I would like to know what colour our team tops are so I can co-ordinate with my trousers of choice! Wouldn't want to be wearing yellow trousers with a red top! :eek: :eek:

Considering the condition thecraw underestimated his performance he hit a lot of cracking shots and putted really well, a good partner to have.
 
In case no-one noticed Danny Willett shot a 64 today (9 under par)....

I still reckon he's beatable in matchplay though... good luck Mike!

Good shooting Danny, do it again tomorrow, practice really hard all week, shoot another 4 64's in next weeks competition and burn yourself out before the GM dream team come calling!

That is some serious shooting!

Don't even know if I could go round Walton Heath in 9 under 5's!

I tell you what though, if she doesn't answer her bloomin phone, she might well find two tents installed in her back garden come April 5th!!!!

Maybe we should have a GM festival in her nice leafy Surrey house back garden.....trash the lawn with beer and divots. :D

You know Smiffy that's a dilemma of mine too! I'd hate to be wearing a nice dapper pair of yellow slacks and be given a purple Ping Team top to wear, that would never do!!

Hopefully Mike and Jezz will come up trumps soon with a corporate wardrobe.

Remember when ordering your adidas shoes for the day to get a size bigger. Thought that was an awesome bonus on top of the already fantastic day! I went for black and silver!
