On route. Had to come back home to get jacket,shirt and tie after this mornings text from Mike.
Flight is 1900hrs. I am heading off to the airport for 1700, dropping my car at Dads then using Dads taxi service (still after all these years!!) to the airport.
Not played since a week ago on Sunday at Machrihanish, although I did manage 6 holes on Sunday when the wife took the kids to their aunts for an Easter Egg hunt!
Really really really looking forward to playing Walton Heath. It looks seriously good! Not looking forward to a 235 yard opening par 3. Hope Mike likes them!!!!!

Can't see us playing off the blues or the white (although I'd prefer it if we did). It'll probably be 195yds off the greens.... greens are 'tee of the day'.... for short hitters

My guess is that we'll be playing off the whites being all good players an all
HTL has lent Tony a suit as he had already come down without one so please be gentle with him. I think it may be a touch baggy!

I was nearly in that boat as well. Thankfully I was able to dash home and pick up a suit, shirt and tie. It'll be crushed to feck by tomorrow being folded in a holdall.
Was thinking of going for the Rab C Nesbit look with suit, string vest, trainers and Daily Record in the pocket but couldn't bring myself to buy a Record!
