Glove on Glove off

Tend to take it off although will leave it on for longer putts or off the green in an attempt to remind myself to give it a smack.

Doesn't work usually. My putting is pretty crap. In fact leaving the head cover probably wouldn't make it much worse.

I chip and putt without a glove on, I never used to wear a glove when I had full cord grips. I started wearing a glove when I went to half cord grips and didn't have the purchase on the club when my hands got hot and sweaty.

The greatest player to play the game always putted with his glove on!

Goes on just prior to stepping up onto the 1st tee and doesn't come off again until I walk off the 18th..... unless I have to have roll a fag.
;)

Must be on & off quicker than a bride's french knickers then :smirk:

Usually take mine off after every shot then leave it off for chipping and putting. However, if it's cold or gets wet, then it quite often stays on, there is an element of difference in touch but doesn't seem to make a huge difference in reality.

I always use a glove for driver down to 7 iron, then take it off for 8 iron through sand wedge and putting.
I find that works best for me, as I 'feel' the shorter shots that way.

Well, that glove's fulla vaseline." "Vaseline? What the hell for?" "Well, I tell ya what - Curley says he's keepin' that hand soft for his wife.

in the winter i dont tend to take the glove off at all, but once it gets warmer i take it off between shots and for putting.

I don't ever having hanging out my back pocket like a pro, I'm not a good enough played to get away with that:rofl:

lie or hang it on the trolley handle while putting.

My question would be...........why are you thinking about your glove instead of thinking about the pace and line of your putt?

Off for putting, always have done since I first started playing. Probably all in my head but I prefer to putt without a glove. I keep the glove on for all other shots though.

I've always worn a glove since i started playing because I thought thats what all golfers wear. Must admit I take mine off for wedge and putt shots but wear it for every other shot. I do it because of habit rather than anything tangible.

I suggest you go and get your hands checked out then Bratty.
Having played with you a few times, I reckon the nerve endings in them are shot.

I've always kept my glove on for putting. No particular reason, but now it is just ingrained.

Also played in a pair of winter gloves yesterday for the first time. Thought they might feel a bit strange but they were actually very good although I did feel a bit of loss of feel with chipping and putting.
