Very drinkable stuff but entirely unwhiskylike. My beverage of choice when filling trophies at the end of season prize giving....

The one and only cup I ever won, I put cask strength malt in it. The look on the faces of the greedy ones who took a huge gulp was priceless!! :whoo:

Talking of Whiskey cocktails back in my much younger days, well over 20yrs ago, one of my mates was a cocktail waiter and I'd regulary sit at the end of the bar wehere we'd make up cocktails, some were good some were bloody awful. Anyway I invented one I called the 'Afterburner' tacky name I know but it consisted of.

One shot Drambuie

A bit exspensive to buy in a bar, even back in the day it was near a tenner, but it was a real winter warmer, so yo feel it warm you up all the way down, three of them and you were toast.

That's a lethal combo, Tequila I like, but makes me do silly things.

I thought Bladnoch was a silent distillery.
Quite hard to find if so.

Just checked, I see they have restarted and are selling 10 and 11 year old bottles.
