De La Soul and Jurassic 5 were fantastic last night, Kaisers sounded terrible. Heard a band called Jungle that sounded really good. I like the coverage but some of the bands need to lighten up, chill out have some fun - too cool for school some of them. Arcade Fire - not for me, at all.

Lots of Glasto crowd were getting trains from Reading. I can't believe how young some of them were, and we're talking no more than 15 in one group of girls. Musically it hasn't seemed as good this year or maybe I really am getting old and grumpy now

Jungle were good and caught some of clean bandit last night, that was good!

Not usually my kind of thing but that's what I like about watching Glastonbury from the comfort of my armchair!

Seeing new bands without getting cold and wet enjoyed Robert plant, lily Allen and jake bug, strange mix!!!

Thought Metallica and dolly were too far off the end of the scale at both ends for me!

Yes Metallica and Dolly not by bag at all. I like Disclosure but returned the football as they bored me a little, Kasabian looked like they rocked.

I thought Metallica were really good too. I didn't really really know them at all about 5 years ago and was offered a ticket to see them at the O2 and enjoyed it. Came accross on tv well I thought

Watched them yesterday afternoon on my laptop, I also thought they went down really well, Hetfield is an excellent front man. Not a fan of Metallica as such, they ain't "heavy" enough for me and Lars Ulrich is possibly the worst drummer (and biggest twit) in metal

Also not a great fan of Metallica for same reason - too much soft metal pretending to be hard and ending up a bit wishy washy (mind you that is compared with what my lad has me listening to...). Mind you as a front man Hetfield is excellent.

And as far as Arcade 'Damp Squib' - hmm - sorry - dull, dull, dull. Give me Dolly any day.
