Anybody going? Who are we looking forward to seeing either live or on the telly?

Not been to a festival for many a year but each year I see Glastonbury on the telly I think I need to make the effort to attend one year.

If for the last 2 nights you had, like me commuted out of London from Paddington on a train that stops at Castle Cary, you wouldn't go. bunch of wellie wearing weirdos!

I've always been grumpy, nothing to do with age:angry:

Little things do wind me up, like the 2 twenty something girls yapping right near my ear on the train about how amaaazing Glasto is, and where they went on their gap years etc etc.. i could have thrown both of them from the train, probably should have done it round about Slough where the train is going about 70mph, that should have worked.

& you just know they're going to leave their "Glasto wrist band" on for the next 8month:mad:

I have been 12 times, think I have done it to death and I cant see me going again. Specially as its so sanitized now.

Download has always been the festival for me. Go every other year. Now I am in my 40s I do go for the upgraded camping where I can park the car next to the tent but still do the full 5 days. Reading and Leeds is tempting and would like to do the Isle of Wight one year but Glastonbury has never leaped out as a must go to event

We were invited to Belladrum the other night, never to old we were told.

Absolutely Doon, you're never to old for a festival. Plenty of old hippies still kicking about these places................Not that I'm saying you're a hippie. ;)
