Been going the range a bit to get the hang of it and its been going pretty well , had a nightmare session today could not hit much as good got another blister etc... but thinking about it maybe its time for me to go on the course learn more about shots and be able to take my time more rather than just hitting 100 balls etc... ??

just thought you start on the range but im quickly realising the course will be much better in the long run
no, playing golf on a course is what you want, just hitting balls might be fun, but no where near the fun that can be had on a course.

first time i played was an invite to a golf day by a Cricket team i played occ for, never played or held a club, 10 balls on the range to try the clubs i was borrowing, then straight out .. i was hooked after that
