Pity something more harmful hasn't been thrown at bush before now.

If it'd been two Jags Prescott, There'd have been more than ducking going on... lol

Bush is a spineless wimp...

The clip did make me laugh...

You've got to ask though, where the hell were the Secret Service guys?

I know it was only a shoe but it could still have done some damage.

Give the guy his due. he ducked the first one very well and barely flinched on the second

Reactions of a jedi ! ;) I love the way the blokes came wandering out from the door behind the podium seemingly un-alert and out for a stroll. To be fair though the one at the front of the two got a slight waddle on :p

I think I recall that hitting someone with your shoe is a massive insult in Iraq, seem to remember crowds battering the statue of Saddam with their shoes when it came down. Am sort of surprised that the news networks have not mentioned this and have taken is as a sort of strange joke

It is a real insult in that neck of the woods. Bare feet seen as a sign on spiritual uncleanliness. Thought Bush irrespective of your view in his policies did very well to duck the flying leather. Not sure about his security though and it could have been a lot worse. Secret Service just stood by

At first I thought bush had turned up in flip flops and was being passed the apropriate attire, but then I realised it was more than that! :D

Isnt it right that the man who so often puts HIS foot in it is offered an apropriate reply. ;)

Knowing Bush, he probably brushed it off with a witty repost.."Hey, The shoes on the other hand now dude!"
