With the release of the G6 this has pushed the price down of the G3 and G5??

Just wanted to get people's views on what one is best? Fancy getting one as I believe knowing my yardage is important as I try to get down to single figures this year!

depends on price difference. Had a G3 and rate it highly, not sure what extra the G5 adds, think its just slightly larger and a few little extra's.

G3 all day long then, can move cursor on touch screen for hazards etc, move flag on greens for exact yardage (ish) if you know the flag of the day position. Just buy a 4 pack of rechargeable aa batteries and your good to go (can use standard AA which last 2 rounds ish so nice easy backup if playing away)

I've got the G5 and wouldn't be without it. I upgraded from the SkyCaddie SG5 as I forgot or it became a pain to load courses all the time.

It has everything IMO, finds the course I am at immediately, shows me all the hazard distances, which my clubs seem to ignore ;) exploded views of the greens, you have the touch screen so I can touch a spot and it tells me lay-up distance, plus much more.

Batteries last at least 36hrs although I've never let them die as I invested in 4 rechargeable batteries and a small charger all for £24.00 from Maplin, best thing I have ever purchased, along with the Garmin 5 of course ;)
