I realise this is a dull thread but help would be greatly appreciated.

Am I correct in saying that the pictures below show a weed? Do you know what it is called? It is growing very low to the ground.

Thanks for your help - I will be in a world of pain if I remove it and it turns out to be a flower.

I have made it perfectly clear to HID that if she wants me doing any gardening then I need absolute concrete instructions as to what does and doesn't get pulled up.
If it's not specified then it gets pulled.
Your situation?
Leave it. Better safe than sorry.

There's no such thing as a weed, just plants that are growing in the wrong place. Looks a bit like some wallflowers that I had last year. I'd just watch it and see what happens.

Edit......not sure If I have the same plant........If it is 'small' it may be, if large with a milky sap it's euphorbia.

Comes with a nice lasting pink/orange flower, easy to cut back. Very aggressive ground cover plant will take over a border.
I take bits of it and put it in tubs, hanging baskets, hangs well.

There is a very simple way of deciding which is which it by the definition of a weed

A weed is any plant growing in a place you do not want it to grow.

If it is a euphorbia ensure you wear protective gloves is you cut it.

The milky white sap that comes out causes a skin rash.

PS Cutting one of the stems to see if it oozes white sap is a good way of identifying it.
