Garcia Withdraws From Scottish Open

I have just heard that Sergio Garcia has withdrawn from the Barclays Scottish Open at Castle Stuart. No more details at trhe moment.

Maybe he's heard the greens are quite difficult to read and putt on.

He was only going to play to try and qualify for the Open, but now he's in, no need. He'll practice in Spain instead.

On those famous Links De Sol. You would think with the putting woe's he has had, he would be wanting to test his new found form out under some more pressure. Just to see how it stands up to it.

Radar said on Sunday he will probably take a couple of weeks off to practice before The Open, I guess because he had nowqualified and just played the US and then German back to back.
