Poor lad comes on to share some good news and gets totally rinsed! Shame on you. . . Totally deserved though
Crossfield uses 'gamed' so if its good enough for him then.... Language evolves , it happens....
He also uses boom de la boom.... And deserves to be shot in the crowd jewels from point blank with a paint ball gun.....

So a golf professional is now to be regarded as the arbiter of the English language!
That just proves that evolution is not necessarily the perfect form of development.

Do you think he'd get emulsional??
"Innitt!""gamed" is just the first step towards a slippery slope, you'll be saying "my bad" and "winningest" before long.
Hate the word 'gamed'!!! Not a proper verb! :angry:Crossfield uses 'gamed' so if its good enough for him then.... Language evolves , it happens....
Oh well if Mark Crossfield uses it then it must be fine
Frankly, i couldn't care if the Queen started using it, it's not right. Language may evolve, but we should do whatever it takes for English not to evolve into American English. We're already starting to lose the art of punctuation, if we carry on as we are we're just going to end up with streams of random words rather than sentences and paragraphs.
Now can someone please direct me to the English Language forum![]()
Hope they serve you well. I'm sure freedom of speech will always winWont be long on here until you get an infraction for wrong grammar.
Anyway, thanks to those who have replied about the actual topic. My new golf bats.Hopefully the weather is ok next sunday to get them back out on the course for another 'game'.
