Jackets are more common so you can get a bargain with those. Never seen the Alf anywhere near that price in the many years I have been on Ebay.

I've got the Alf trousers and they have never left me down. I don't wear anything underneath, except some undies obv, apart from one weekend in the middle of winter when it was brass monkeys and put the thermal legging things on! They are plenty warm enough. Only slight issue I've had is the pockets gape when I wear them! One time it constant heavy rain the inside of pockets were really wet, it never came through though and I was dry as a bone, just everything in my pocket was wet.

I'm not 100% on the waist really, I generally wear a 36" however do have a couple pairs of jeans which are 34". Don't know whether to risk getting a Medium or Large.
Leg is 29"

Aye, seen them already, too long though. I'm an average size bloke just really short legs it would seem.

Pity really as they are the cheapest I have seen a brand new pair TBH. You want that waist in a regular or short I reckon. I took an XL waist and L in leg.

Still not sure what waist to go for, Medium is 31.5"-36" when stretched. Large is 34-38 I think. Probably best going large.

Probably need a Large mate TBH as GG stuff is not the biggest fitting gear.

Good to know, cheers. Will keep an eye out on eBay, hopefully the summer is half decent and I have no need for a pair of waterproof trousers till October.

I hope your right pal but I have my doubts, after last year my confidence with the weather over here is at an all time low. TBH the summer is your best chance to bag a pair of these a bit cheaper. Soon as autumn arrives not much chance really

Personally I cannot bring myself to pay that much money for water proof trousers! I have a galvin jacket and its the best thing i have ever brought! But I have a pair of £50 sunderland trousers, I ripped the inner lining trying to slide my foot through them on the course once! If i did that with galvins I may of broken down in tears lol
If you have taken it back under warranty why not get them to order it in if they haven't got any in stock. Not a fan of GG and think its over priced for what it is.

I have stopped wearing trousers...
Now I have ur attention.. I mean, no longer wear waterproof shell. I have a sports Direct Dunlop for about 10 quid. stays in the bag. But choose to wear my Nike golf trousers , I think I got 2 for 75quid or something. Decent waterproofs and u can always chuck them into the washing m/c if they get too muddy..

Cross golf trousers, from DG are around £80 and do everything you want. Father in Law has a pair, he has had lenty wear from them, they are lined and have belt loops etc on so all round good buy.
