How about an Ulster fry? :)
Great idea along with ken though not a purist when it comes to the ulster fry.
A proper fry to me is
Sausages, crispy bacon, slightly runny fried eggs, soda bread, potato bread, black pudding, White pudding, a round or two of toast, spoonful of beans and mushrooms are optional.
Now I'm hungry, off for grub.

Has to be the fulll english. It was all we were thinking about on the 2nd round last Friday. I've never seen three guys polish off a plate of grub so quickly.

I've had a few brekkies at various clubs. Lydds was great but the course doesn't justify the trip. Its funny how some of the better clubs have the worse breakfasts with anaemic bacon, soggy fried bread and partially congealed fried eggs.

They had it up in Inverness during the castle Stuart outing. Was a lot messier than what we get here though. I think a few guys who ate in the cafe at the caravan park will testify to the chefs (HA!) inability to cook a fry, the White pudding looked like a plate of fried porridge.

Looks like Im the only one who doesn't like a fry up. A nice cold glass of milk, either a couple of croissants or pain au chocolat or toast does me. Really not a fan of a heavy stomach in the morning.

When playing golf it's great because nothing puts you out of your stride and concentration like hunger pangs.
I'm not saying croissants etc will but there is nothing like a couple of bacon naps or a fry before teeing off.

Grilled bacon, grilled sausage, grilled square sausage, grilled tomato, poached egg(s) and toast!

Now your talking, none of this swimming in cheap animal fat crap!

Large pot of tea!

Both! Some grainy rabbit food and a few slices of grapefruit (to aid transit) followed by some proper food.
Washed down with coffee and un petit cigarillo, preferably on the putting green.

I once saw a man eating only boiled eggs and raw onions for breakfast....I avoided him.
