HID is off to Blackpool (with the car ) on a hen weekend Saturday morning and no one local is free for golf.

My new shoes will probably be here too...Looks like I'll just have to wear them around the house.

I'm sure they do, but she's being paid rather handsomely by the rest of the girls as she's now the "designated driver"...So I'm not too arsed. Worst case, I'll wear my shoes indoors and clean my clubs while doing so.

All the blokes I've played with in the Sunday Club thus far are local to the club and don't live up my way (about 25 minutes away).

I've been told there's a few chaps who live my way, but not met any of them as of yet.

Will have to check with HID as it's entirely possible that she has made plans and forgotten to tell me, which often happens!

Yea, my neighbour will drop me down as long as he's about, but he's not a golfer, and as nice as it is to play on my own, I like a bit of banter.

I'll probably go play on my own if no one else is around or I'll get him to drop me off and get the club to slot me in with a 2 or 3 ball that doesn't mind me tagging along.
