If you want a cheap way to post golf clubs which is also insured go to your post office and ask for Parcelfarce.
Just pay for they're shocking 48 hour service and sit back and wait. Four (or even later) days later when the parcel is finally delivered go back to said post office and fill out a complaints/compensation receipt and bob's your uncle, fanny's your aunt parcelfarce will deliver your parcel (late) free of charge as they will refund you the postage costs for failing to meet their terms and conditions.
How Parcelfarce can make any money is beyond me! That's the last four parcels I've sent that I've received full refunds on.
Its really a great way of sending parcels (especially golf clubs) for free and as I say fully insured.
Thanks Parcelfarce I think I may add your customer services department to my Christmas card list this year!
