If you want a cheap way to post golf clubs which is also insured go to your post office and ask for Parcelfarce.

Just pay for they're shocking 48 hour service and sit back and wait. Four (or even later) days later when the parcel is finally delivered go back to said post office and fill out a complaints/compensation receipt and bob's your uncle, fanny's your aunt parcelfarce will deliver your parcel (late) free of charge as they will refund you the postage costs for failing to meet their terms and conditions.

How Parcelfarce can make any money is beyond me! That's the last four parcels I've sent that I've received full refunds on.

Its really a great way of sending parcels (especially golf clubs) for free and as I say fully insured.

Thanks Parcelfarce I think I may add your customer services department to my Christmas card list this year!

I sent a club a few weeks back that I had sold and had promised the guy he would have it by the weekend so sent it the Tuesday morning with them telling me it would be with him in 48 hours.............

Turned up the following Tuesday!

Luckily the guy was ok with it and I couldn't be chewed to make a complaint but wish I had now.

This is SO TRUE............

I currently have 5 CLAIMS in against Parcelforce (farce) for late Delivery of parcels

But with Parcelforce Express ( NO JOKE ) 48 service, u can only claim back 25% of your costs
I believe if sent by 24hr service ( now this would be great to see ) u can claim back full costs

Unfortunately for me, without the inconveniance of waiting in all day ( normally 8-6 ) for another courier to pick up my gear from home, there arent many alternatives with Tracking, BUT Craw is right Parcelforce is becoming a Sad Sad (unfunny) JOKE

So you could get a million parcels all over the country in a more efficient manner?...at a better price?

Well good luck to you whingbag

Parcelfarce £12 for a golf club

Parcel2go choice of couriers from £4. No contest.

Parcelfarce £8 handling fee for international items.

UPS OR FedEx no charge. No contest.

Parcelfarce 24 hour delivery which has never in my experience delivered on time.

Royal Mail Special Delivery, before 1300 next day, never failed. No contest.

These are all examples of my experience and my opinion formed from using different couriers - mainly for golf club/shaft delivery.
