Free Film Editing Software

I'm looking to do some video filming in 2017, not only golf related but some family stuff too and want to make it into something half decent that I can then put up for friends and relatives to look at. I've got a bog standard Fuji camera which has done the job in the past filming my golf etc and don't want anything else (not got the cash to buy anything).

Can anyone recommend any free editing software that is good to use and simplistic I'm a technophobe at this sort of thing and it's all looking a bit daunting. Ideally it needs to be able to utilise video off my I phone and the camera.

Yup the basic windows one is fine, even has integration to YouTube etc for easy upload.

My skills and time are lacking rather than the software.

If you need more you should pay for it, you can get some good cheap paid ones but I forget the popular ones names.

I've used Magix for years - currently on version 15. Only around £30 - worth every penny with many export options.
