Forum on iOS

I can't use the forum on my iPhone (Safari) at the moment....

Firstly I'll get the following error....



This happens 4-5 times (the reloading) and then the page crashes.

I have cleared my cache and restarted the phone but no joy, any ideas?

It happens (happened) to me too, and it always crashed when the Jordan Spieth advert has that little fast forward bit along the ground.

As much as I don't like ad blockers because sites needs ads for the revenue, I've now installed one. Job jobbed.

Install an ad blocker. Cures the problem completely

All you have to do is visit the App Store
Search for ad block and install Adblock plus
It's free,

You then switch it on in settings , safari

Which is what I've had to do to make the forum usable again. But, it surely can't be too difficult to create an advert that doesn't crash one of the most popular mobile browsers in the world can it? Now I won't see any advertising on this site ever again. Seems a touch counter productive.

Downloaded Ad Blocker for iOS and the problem is solved so thanks for the suggestions.

As bluewolf has said, bit odd that the ads aren't actually tested to ensure that they don't screw up the forum. Surely it's going to put off advertisers if they start to realise that all forum members are having to use this software to ensure that the forum is usable.

Another +1 here. At least on any standard browser like Safari, Chrome, IE, ... . It's not like we are trying to do it in Netscape Navigator or AOL.
