Forum exclusive - Wildcard entries for Britain's Best Putter regional finals

Hi all

After a hugely successful debut, Britain's Best Putter is back for 2013 and we have a number of wildcard entries to the Regional Finals to hand out to Forumers

Wilcards will join winners of local qualifiers being held across the country in May and June

Those selected for wilcard entry into the regional finals will receive the following absoulutely FREE... entry to the Britain's Best Putter competition, lunch and then 18 holes of golf in the afternoon.

Four players from each Regional Final will earn a place at the Grand Final at the Belfry in September and the winner of the Grand Final will claim the sensational prize of a week's golf at the fabulous LUMINE resort near Barcelona www.golf-monthly.co.uk/britainsbestputter/gallery/34346/1/0/lumine-mediterr-nea-beach-golf-club.html

We are currently offering wildcards in the following regions:

Midlands – The Nottinghamshire – Thursday 4th July

West – Cumberwell Park – Tuesday 9th July

North East – Moortown – Thursday 11th July

Scotland – Haggs Castle – Wednesday 24th July

Most events will start around 10am and be completed by early evening.

You can maybe have a comp with joe miller long drive champ he drove 10th @ belfry with a putter! :lol:

Shame I'm off to see mickey mouse would of thrown my hat into this! a day out at moortown would be very appealing.

No Northwest wildcards this year? shame, I enjoyed last year's event.

Unfortunately we are currently full up in the North West, but if anything changes or if anyone pulls out, you'll be the first to know

Unfortunately my club doesn't get involved in this event but I had a great day last year as a wild card entry at the Belfry courtesy of Golf Monthly :thup:

Think i might be up for this played in our club comp on Saturday had 28 putts including nine one putts and six up and downs and still didn't get a cut.

· 10.00 - 10.30 - Practice on putting green
· 10.30 - Competition on putting green commences
· From 12.30pm - Rolling buffet lunch
· 1.30 - Prize presentation ​
· From 2.00 - 18-holes on the main course
· Competitors depart

I was there today, dont think any of the winners were forum wildcards. It was a good day ou though, interesting putting course then knockout stages.

Lunch then round of Golf on the Old Course, decent course but weather made it difficult at times!

The derelict house is adjacent to the putting green and Par 3 course, could possibly be in the process of being done up as a further clubhouse for the Par 3 course.

If you get chance for a round at Formby Hall I would recommend it
