Is anyone Playing in the forest pines pro am this tuesday?
Never played it before but heard alot of good things bout it so looking forward to it

Had a society weekend there last year - the weekend England were knocked out some football cup.

Gorgeous weather, cracking venue, but as Bob says keep it straight or you will be coming out sideways. I remember on one of the nines there is a par 5 with a blind shot over pond followed by a good length par 3 over a pond.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I went last spring & have to say that it's one of the best I've played.

Beautifully kept fairways & greens. Tight, testing but not overly long.

The Beeches is the weakest 9 hole stretch but that is still pretty top draw.

Enjoy it, don't worry about how tight it is. In fact I think that my accuracy improved as it seemed to concentrate the mind.

Same happened to me. Went from 4 or 5 fairways a round at my club to the best I've ever driven the ball.

You'll love it. Play there 4-5 times a year, and always in good nick. One of the best tracks in the area.

Not a bad word said bout place so really lookin forward to it. Not sure of the 18 were playin but from pictures it looks awesome
