I used to attend the model engineers show at Olympia... Was a guy there [Italian?] who used to exhibit 'working' models of Ferrari sportscar racers... About the size of a dinner table top [fifth scale maybe]... Absolute works of art and when he fired them up the 'noise' was absolutely spot on... Would of been, if I remember correctly, boxer 8cylinder engines... Gearbox worked... The lot in fact :thup:...
