I would love to see England come out and play with the freedom of the Dutch. Not sure the Italians would live with our speed. As long as the defence held firm we could be off to a flyer. Instead we'll try and keep the ball, badly, lose possession in dangerous places and concede accordingly. Same old England. Please prove me wrong!

Im not sure anyone has said its a crime Phil. But I'll admit I find it odd that people who like footy don't support their national team. Don't have to follow them home and away like club football, but I'd expect fans to want England to win all the time.

Read back what certain people have posted towards people who have said they don't support England and the reaction is as if a crime has been committed

Does it matter ?

Did you start the thread to find your answer or to weed out the non England supporting people and then critisize them

Still no one has said when it became such a crime to not support England and when it became compulsory to support England ?

Wind your neck in for God's sake.
Of course it doesn't matter, I was just curious as his location is Liverpool! Besides, I asked him, not you!
Oh, and who suggested that crimes were being committed?
You really should get a grip, mate.

As said to Papa only have to read some of the reactions from people like you towards people who have said they don't support England.

I know a lot of people who have club before country. Medwayjon (anyone remember him) is very vehement about it on FB. I can see where he (and others) are coming from but it isn't a point I subscribe to. Not sure it's a "crime" to have feelings either way

Yeah they think it's ridiculous Phil, their posts towards you may be harsh. But I don't think anybidy has said you're wrong to not support them, just confused by it.

Are you a Liverpool supporter perchance?

.

Good Evening Slime,

Yes i certainly am a Liverpool supporter.

Any Particular reason for the question?

Cast your mind back to 1995-96 season, Steve Mcmanaman and Robbie Fowler where at the time 2 of Englands best players and because Venables had his way of playing he decided that those 2 players didn't fit his team so they very rarely featured. Fair do's i have no qualms with that whatsoever.

I also despise the "Fleet Street" gutter shyster's who use there lofty positions to peddle their own agenda's.

Well I've decided that not supporting your home country at everything they do, and especially football, should be a criminal offence and I'm going to ask UKIP to put it in their manifesto !

I thought venables gave macca his debut and made him a main player during 96?

I do agree that some managers show favouritism, trust me a lot of players have been treated worse than those of Liverpool.

Obviously the phrase scouse not English is used a lot, I wonder how may of Liverpools no post code supporters support England.

Re the UTD fans going off England, that was short term in support of one of their players. I don't think they're as anti English as Liverpool.

Fowler by the way, god and Le god both treated poorly!

I used to be made up when our players weren't picked by England as they went through a stage of coming back crocked.

Scouse not English is a bit of fun really, although does sum up our priorities!

Quote my reactions Phil, prove your point!
