Bought a pair of Footjoy Hyperflex shoes at Christmas and was playing today and it appears that both shoes now seem to be letting in water after 8 months

I am aware that most Footjoy shoes have a one or two year waterproof guarantee.

Has anyone had to make a return to them before and did you make the return via the place of purchase or did you return them directly to Footjoy?

Place of purchase in the 1st year for sure.

Other half returned to my pro shop (as they were bought in the USA) and sent back to footjoy. unfortunately they are unable to replace the shoe so gave my pro shop the credit of what we paid and bought a new pair of him!

really good service :)

Surprised to hear about Footjoy shoes leaking, I've never had any problems.

Its the first time I have played in them in really heavy rain and it'e even more frustrating that the shoes on both feet appear to be leaking

I can't actually find the delivery note that came in the box when American Golf sent them out. However I do have the email regarding the purchase which is dated for December

Do you think that will cause me any issues not having the note that came in the box as I don't want to give them and reason not to either refund or exchange the shoes?

As said above, take them to the retailer you bought them from, or take them to any authorised FootJoy retailer. They can then send them back to us to be inspected and in this case, most likely replaced.

Emailed the nearest American Golf to me and as long as I have proof of purchase they said they are happy to exchange them

It has put me off getting another pair of Footjoys at the moment and I am considering paying a bit extra to get the Adidas Boost 360 shoes

I am currently having a problem with 2015 model DNA shoe.
Bought from my Pro Shop end of April this year, and am losing spikes during a round for last 4 or 5 times I've played.
I've emailed Footjoy, will let you know how I get on

Are you twisting the new spikes in with a 2 prong tool or just twisting them in with your fingers?

Are they the PINS spikes?
If they are you need to turn them 2-3 times inside the hole to fully insert them, otherwise they fall out.

I bought them from our Pro Shop at end of April, had them respiked at start of August (by pro shop), since then spikes are falling out every time I play, it's as though replacing spikes once has damaged the inserts in some way. They are a slightly different fitting spike to footjoy shoes I've owned in the past, and I've never had this problem before, as I generally change spikes every 3 months or so

The spikes of the bottom of my Dryjoy Casual started to come away so sent back - 4 days later they couldn't send me a new pair as they no longer do them ( only came out in Jan this year ) so was given a credit note and was going to wait for the Pro SL which Pros have been wearing for 6 months and out in the US for 3 months. Just been told by FJ they won't be out in the UK until Feb ?!

Had a reply from Footjoy asking to send shoes back to them through pro shop for investigation
I'm assuming I will get a refund, does anyone have the 2016 model DNA? Hopefully there won't be any issues with spikes in new model, as I absolutely love the shoes, very comfy

Just to update, pro shop sent shoes (2015 model) back to Footjoy, would appear it's a problem with that particular shoe, received a pair of DNA 2016 model in return.
Thank you Footjoy, very good customer service, a very happy customer you have made!!!

I have footjoy m project spike less shoes that are no longer waterproof within 2 year warranty but bought from Sports Direct. I think I'll try speaking going to Footjoy first myself rather than Sports Direct...
