Footjoy Returns

I had three pairs of Footjoy Contours fail to meet the waterproof guarantee in a row. I returned them to our pro shop from where they were purchased and they were replaced without a quibble each time.

It seems to be a worrying trend that Footjoy shoes aren't as waterproof as they used to be. I've experienced a similar problem with a pair of AQL's and, much as I love my Footjoys, I may be looking at other brands in the future.
In terms of the PINS spikes, I had a friend who had a similar problem in the contours and took them back for a refund.
They also have PINS in my Puma shoes and I was losing loads of them but I think it was down to the original spikes as there was always a bit left in the fitting. I bought some Masters PINS spikes and they seem to be staying the course.
