I have an under armour top / jumpery thing. It is shower proof, but not waterproof. Wore it in quite heavy rain recently, and it was fine. I think if I was carrying, it would rub through on the shoulders.

I have a few of the Proquip jumpers and they have held up pretty well in the rain
