Footjoy AQL

Anybody recommend this golf shoe.. Footjoy AQL

Currently using Footjoy Dryjoys and no complaints,Had them over a year now, and all I have replaced is laces and Cleats,they are still waterproof and comfy,Question is ?? Do I pay the extra and go for new Dryjoys or do we go with the cheaper version and go with the AQL..

My AQL's are almost two years old and still like new. Even the laces. And I have worn them alot.

Wore them straight out of box with no issues. Well worth the money. Would never pay for a dearer shoe.

Much the same as everyone else, I've found them to be a very good shoe.

They are a decent shoe. From personal preference I'd go dryjoy every time. I had a pair that lasted nearly ten years and never had any issues. I guess price has to come into the equation but if you like the AQL then go for it

I've had a pair of AQL's for about 2.5 years and they're as good now as they were when new.
Not quite as comfortable as my Nike's but good all the same. I'd have no worries about buying another pair.

I've got four pairs of AQL's. Each pair fitted straight from the box and are totally waterproof. 100% recommendation from me.

I walked around St Andrews in the p1ssing rain in my 2 year old AQLs and my feet stayed comfortable and dry.

Nearly bought a pair earlier this year. Great looking shoes but in the end went for Contours as they were a bit more substantal and felt more stable. Check out the comments here

Not quite as expensive as DryJoys so worth checking out.

On the flip side I've had 2 pairs of dry joys tour this year, both were badly fitting, uncomfortable even though the size was right, the aql's sound better and all footjoys are waterproof now not just the dry joys.

I changed from some dryjoys and bought 2 pairs of aql's they are just as comfy and quality also seems as good.
