I know it is very early in the season (but by this time last year there was only one winner)who do you think will be Footballer of the Year (either players' player or football writers)?

If Liverpool win the Premiership it will be Gerrard but if not then who? For me - Vidic

Manager of the Year looks like Martin O'Neil

Injured player of the season, Thomas Rosicknote Rosicky. might not play even one game. Been out for a year already, with nothing apparently wrong with him Even had an operation, for no reason other than to keep him off the playing rota.

No real stand out performances but Lampard and Gerrard as consistent as ever. Vidic is a good shout.

hard to argue with vidic (he looks like he's kill you if you did!)- don't think he's had a bad game since his first season, and whilst last year there was a suggestion ferdinand was the key in the partnership, this year it looks like the serb. alternative choice would be lampard for me, as he's the only one who appears to have pulled his finger out at chelsea this year, the rest look spoiled prima donnas.

he probably hasn't done enough to win it this year, but its a crime that ryan giggs has never had the honour - english fotball's most successful ever player, and a top performer for 18 years now. the sentimentalist in me would vote for him or scholes.

zokora was terrible sunday i thought so anyway..didnt seem like he could pass underpressure and he left the midfield wide open!

Sorry guys but dont see how Gerrard can be a serious contender, he has been AWOL too much this season.

Vidic is a top shout (not just being Bias as a UTD fan) but wouldn't it be great if a defender won it!

No stand outs for me though, certainly not from the usual suspects.

I think you will find it is 'their'. Sorry. Spelling/grammar is my thing (provided my key board is workibg).

Anyway, this is bound to be RVP's best season, as it may yet be his only season playing most of the games. That said, he is made of glass, and will shatter sometime soon.
