City a steady 8.5.
City a steady 8.5.
8/10 personally due to no DCM signed to back up rice but otherwise agreeWest Ham 9/10
Some great signings, and a couple of good punts.
😂9.5/10
Getting rid of Moreno, mignolet and Sturridge will stop me having the what if Alisson/Robbo/Bobby gets injured nightmares.
Would've been 10/10 had Lovren left
Arsenal 7/10
Tierney, Pepe, Ceballos all seem decent, Saliba and Martinez for the longer term
Ecstatic to get close to 40m for Iwobi, thx Evertonshame to see Nketiah go out on loan to Leeds, hoped wed see some of him in the first team this year
The downside is we havent addressed our biggest need at centre half (even if Luiz comes), Kos gone as has Bielik (liked to have seen him ahead of many of the incumbents)
Havent reduced the pressure on the wage bill enough with Ozil, Mhiki, Mustafi etc still there but not really in our first choice side
Can still offload Mustafi to a European team. Another 3 weeks to go. #nevergiveuphope.
8/10 for Spurs. Ndombele was crucial as we sorely missed Dembele last season, he is a hard man to replace but we may well have done that. Lo Celso gives us another option and more depth in attack. Sessegnon seems to be highly rated, and can also play left wing if need be.
Would have been a 9/10 but we've left ourselves short of a good right back unfortunately. And on top of that getting Dybala over the line would have made it 10/10.
Overall pretty happy though. Not lost any major players bar Trips either which is good after all the talk of Toby, Eriksen & Rose leaving.

I don't think they're up for it to be honest. But even if he does go we've already brought in GLC so no biggie.Doesn’t eriksen want to go Madrid? Can still happen
Aurier is absolute pony. I think Foyth may be 1st choice RB when he returns to fitness. Not ideal but he still has some potential I think - much prefer him at RB to CB! KWP could come good but still pretty raw. He's definitely going to start on Saturday so we'll see how he does.I'm almost glad that we didn't get Dybala - seemed too many issues (eg, the image rights), something just didn't seem right about the deal.
As far as RB is concerned, I think we're pretty much covered - I have a lot of faith in KWP and then we have Aurier who seemed to improve before getting injured. There is also Foyth who as we know is out injured now, but at least we have cover.
What I am somewhat anxious about is the fact that other countries' windows are still open which could mean Eriksen or Toby going in the next week or so.
8/10 personally due to no DCM signed to back up rice but otherwise agree
8.5 for me overall
8 out of 10 for quality and an extra .5 for lowering the average age this window again
Next summer window I want a box to box (not DM) midfielder, I would like us to spend the majority of our budget on that and a new LB. don’t want a cheap stop gap now.
Think we will score (and concede) a lot of goals so hopefully an exciting season. (If var doesn’t kill it obviously)
MP clearly sees something in Arthur and I agree. From the start of his career his pace has always impressed me. Plus his ability on the ball. Modern full backs attack first defend second .. him and Fredericks are perfect for us
Young LB to replace cresswell as back up would do me just fine
It’s a shame Wilshere won’t stay fit because he would be that box to box midfielder
