Going down to Brighton next weekend to watch Passenger. Staying over a couple of nights to make a long weekend of it so wondered if anyone can recommend decent restaurants and pubs.

Terre a Terre. Don't get put off it being a vegetarian restaurant, my wife and I started going years ago (she's a veggie) and it's genuinely one of my (carnivore!) favourite restaurants. I've been to pretty much all of the decent restaurants in the same price bracket and it's always consistently top drawer.
Mongolian BBQ always good fun too, if it's still there. Highly suggest a visit to the Fortune of War on the seafront, yes it's a pub and not the restaurant recommendation you were after, but the top floor under the arches is one of my favourite places to sip an ale!

We like this pub www.royalsovereign.pub/ and this restaurant www.rotana-restaurant.co.uk , on the same street near the big tower thing.
