Anyone organised their own trips ?

Looking at next year, but need some advice on websites for villas, some many out there so would prefer to get some recommendations.

Stay one night in Orlando and sleep off the flight. Then drive north 90 minutes to Ponte Vedre and stay and play there... Sawgrass etc...nice old towns like St Augustine and beautiful beaches...

I have used vrbo.com in the past to find places to rent with no problems.

Golfing trip or family trip?

Going o; 25th sept , we always use IPG on Bronson Memorial Highway. Through Golden Florida if you prefer to do it in England.
We stay at Bella Piazza on us27 very close to Champions Gate and Highlands Reserve golf clubs.

If you need any info on golf just ask.
Just depends on the dates as it can get expensive in peak times

If you don’t mind the drive go down to Ft Myers and Captiva area. You won’t regret it.

I'm currently in Florida, always book separately with a villa we've stayed in for years and we just wait on flight prices at a level we are comfortable.

Beach wise, consider the gulf coast, St Pete's, Treasure island, Clearwater which are all great.

For villas you just need to pick an area you would like to stay and then search for prices, a good site to search is homeaway.co.uk
