Recently played with a friend who took some video footage, having watched it back, the one thing I notice compared to him is my driver back swing is much flatter.

I have always struggled with driver in hand, play with a fade/slice always. I have tried to purposely swing more 'around' my body, do you think this is causing me to be flatter at the top? Will the flatter plane highlight a slice or is it probably down to me swinging around and therefore more out to in & accross the ball casuing the slice?

For what its worth, my swing isn't at all flat with iron/wedges in hand.

Would somebody please be kind enough to move this to the correct part of the forum! Its clearly far too early for me to be using a compputer!!

The longer the club the flatter your swing may appear.

My swing (...with all clubs) is flat.

I hit a draw/hook and personally find a flatter swing requires less timing.

Having a flat or one plane swing isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Have you, by any chance, got short legs & / or long arms for your height? I have, & I'm sure this is what makes my swing looks flat because this body shape leads to the shoulders turning on a more horizontal plane. As stated above, not necessarily a bad thing, Miguel Angel is my hero.
