In the address position the heel of an iron is touching the ground , how far off the ground should the toe be, if clubs are fitted correctly ?.

Better to get a 'dynamic fitting' using a Lie Board!

Static fitting can be unreliable - because of the player's preference (and comfort) at address. While perhaps not definitive, there's a vast variety of Pro address set-up, for example.

Basically, the answer is ... Not too much and not too little! But just exactly where it should be really depends on the individual and any consequences of a too flat or too upright angle! That can be one of the benefits of fitting!

Not quite.
A good starting point is a penny should be able to slide under the toe and almost reach midway towards the heel.

This ^^

Although I was told 2p but I guess that's inflation for you

Agree with above. Go and hit off a lie board from someone who can then assess and bend the clubs if nescessary.
