Got the first symptoms a week ago but fought it off. Went out on the lash on Friday, very late night, bodies defences down, now full of cold. Head feels like it's weighs a ton, nose streaming, and up posting on here at stupid o'clock coz I can't sleep. So much for the extra hour in bed!!!!

I do the VERY large whiskey and hot quality lemonade (with lemons) in a pint pot usually two of these then bed and sweat it out. Works like a charm. Much better today.
Good, I was worried about you last night :)(y)

I had an itchy throat about 3 hours ago. I've since sneezed 3 times and had a little cough...... just in time for my spinning fitness test tomorrow.

I've had something hanging over for a while, played golf on Saturday, it was a tad nippy, the wind made it colder, but the sun was out, so it was polo shirt weather, perhaps should've put an extra layer on, now got an itchy throat, bunged up and a cough that makes the dog leave the room. Off work tomorrow so doing the hot bath and large whiskey remedy tonight.

First time I've had snots this bad for many years.

Get some tea tree oil. Put a few drops in water and gargle with it. As often as possible. Gets rid of sore throats. I take echinacea drops on and off over winter. Also, a soluble vitamin C tablet for a couple of weeks as soon as I start with a cold. Usually sorts it out.

Yes plenty of vitamin C, honey, lemons, hot water, warm baths, wrap up and keep the fluids up.

Please can you all forward your findings to the leading immunologists and pharmaceutical companies because they can’t find any cures for the cold yet seemingly you have.

Lots of sex!*

*Doesn't actually cure the cold but takes your mind off it for a couple of minutes ;)

Got a bad cold. Currently in the shiver and aching stage and bodes well for an 8.40 tee time on a cold morning and a fresh wind. If it wasn't a comp I'd definitely consider a duvet day but take a few pills, wrap up warm and man up
