I changed back to my old Ping Anser 2 putter towards the end of last season and sold my previous odyssey Teron. I was putting ok with it but now can't putt for Toffee. It has a very flat and solid face, no grooves or plates and I think that's causing me issues, I always suffer from under hitting... I'm thinking about getting a new flat stick, but not sure what I want...

How do you know what 'the' putter is? Have you found it, what is it for you?

Quite like the Nike Method Core as the insert helps roll, something I struggle to get on my current putter. I prefer bladed to the other shapes.

Whichever fits best in my V-Easy....

On a serious note it is whichever suits your grip and stance so you can get the putter head back square.

I used to have a Ping Anser 4 which I couldn't get any consistency with. When I went for a putter fitting the guy checked it out and over the years it had become bent out of shape, it actually had negative loft. I tried several different makes but the scotty Newport 2 just felt like I had been using it for years. I think if you try enough you will know when you find the right one.

I've used several putters over the years including belly putters, however when I picked up an Odyssey No 7 and felt the balance, I knew it was right. I've improved my putting ten fold since using it and can fully appreciate why it is probably the No 1 putter on tour

Philly169 I also love bladed putters...........and also suffer from underhitting....however, when I picked up and tried a TM spider and a Ping Nome well the difference is night and day. Try mallets, there's a reason sooooo many players use them.
