Finally..

I've finally done what I've been threatening to do. I played a blinder on sunday and shot a round of 3 over for 45 points off 11.4.

Just logged onto Howdidido, I've been cut 3.6 shots down to 7.8, and won the comp by 4 points. Even better that it was a board comp aswell.

Properly chuffed, 8 handicap was my target for the whole year. I can now hopefully play to it and push onwards for a new lower target. Whoop!

Well done marra, a couple more lessons to try and cure my slice and I think I'll put a few cards in to get a handicap.

Looks as if there's an ESR in there - I doubt if he was 18 shots better than CSS.

I agree.

I shot 7 (6 under css) under par, off 12, a few weeks back and was cut 1.2. This 3.6 was an excessive cut as far as I can tell if a ESR wasn't applied

That's great!! I love that feeling of achieving your goals or just scoring well plus being cut more han what you expected (1,8) is great!

I hope css and cse would also exist here in Belgium we only get a CSA +/- 1 about once a year..

Gross score was 75. (Net 64) CCS Jumped down to 71.
Received a 1.6 shot cut and a 2 shot ESR. I'll agree, a 2 shot ESR seems very harsh. But I won last weeks comp with a 38 and this'll be my 7th win this season.

Thanks for all the kind words. I really hope I can just play some sensible golf and not jump back up too quickly.
Came back down to earth tonight playing in the club champs. Lost 5 &4 against a fella that would of given me 2 shots at the weekend. Tonight I gave him 1 shot.
