Finally Joined

i finally went and did it, iv gone and joined a club. having played golf for a while on a 9 hole course, i wanted to start playing 18, get a handicap and get it down. so i went and joined the club yesterday and went for 18 holes straight away. played ok, shot a 96.

now iv just got to get 3 cards in then concentrate on reducing my handicap

I've been a member of mine for 20yrs, and love the place more now than I did when I joined, for me there is nothing better than a few holes on a summer evening, good banter with a couple of mates, and a couple of beers sat on the balcony afterwards as the sun goes down, tis one of my life's best pleasures.
